Parents of SIT Pune
"I am Sanjay Amrutkar father of Rohit Amrutkar studying in 3rd year of mechanical branch in Symbiosis Institute of Technology. I am the General Manager in Air India. I can say very proudly that my son is studying in such a big institute. I have heard of this college from many of my friends and colleagues. This institute is one of top private college in India. There is lot of exposure to gain, many students from other worldwide institutions come for exchange programs which helps in increase your communication skills. There are such facilities which I wish I could have at my time of college. I am very satisfied from this college. The thing I like most is I get every updates like results, attendance etc. of my son from mentors. This institute doesn’t only concentrate on studies but also on future opportunities. It also has tie ups with colleges in abroad. There are many programs available for students such as semester abroad, summer school, winter school programmes. Symbiosis is known worldwide. Students studying in this group of institute has very bright future than any other colleges can provide. I am very happy that my son is getting such opportunities which I couldn’t."
"As parents we want our kids to succeed in life but in a safe and friendly environment. What attracted us to SIT was the beautiful campus, infrastructure and hygienic conditions of its hostels. The college is also strict when it comes to attendance, ragging and hostel rules and regulations. The faculty members have good profile, are supportive and are easily approachable. we are happy with the institute and it facilities. Special mention is the 6 months internship which gives the student an insight into the workforce which ultimately moulds their personality and boosts their confidence. The feedbacks from my son indeed make us more happy."
"If one wants to experience the spirit of 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam' -the world is one family, it can be truly experienced at SIT Pune and I have experienced it and felt the warmth and hospitality. A very tough decision had to be taken when it came to Karin’s admission into the field of engineering since we wanted to give our daughter the best education we could. Despite Karin securing admission in a reputed institution in Mumbai, where we are based, we took the final decision to get her enrolled at SIT Pune into Civil Engineering Program. This decision was based on the fact that SIT is one of the top-ranked universities in India and I liked the cosmopolitan flavour of the place when I had gone there for a visit. Today I can say without the slightest doubt that it was the best decision. I still recall the sound advice that the Civil Engineering faculty had given Karin, and that was the turning point in her life. My daughter has not just done well academically, but has also been groomed into a professional. She has got a campus placement in one of the Big 4 in the global e-commerce space. This is not just to her credit, but also the effort and support of the entire Civil Engineering faculty. I am indebted to them. "
