ISR Activities @ SIT
Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT) indeed follows the university motto of ‘Vasudhaiv Kutumbkum. The mission of SIT is also to address societal problems and foster value-based education. One of the university's best practices is its outreach program, which ensures the participation of all students. We believe in nurturing well-rounded individuals who excel academically and contribute positively to society.
Through our Institutional Social Responsibility (ISR) initiatives, we provide students with opportunities to engage in meaningful projects that positively impact the community.
SIT's ISR program operates through two primary channels:
Service Learning: This mandatory, 4 credits, 120 hours course integrates community service with academic learning, allowing students to apply the skills acquired in the classroom to addressing real-world challenges. Students collaborate with established NGOs on diverse projects. Through hands-on experiences, students develop empathy, leadership skills, and a deeper understanding of social issues while making tangible differences in the lives of others.

Teaching and Remedial classes for school students
V@rsity-care: This student’s club is a platform for student-led initiatives. Focused on helping those in need and spreading awareness, V@rsity-care organizes various events, campaigns, and fundraising activities throughout the year. Projects range from environmental awareness drives to supporting underprivileged communities and offering disaster relief.
